Seeburg

J.P. Seeburg Company, founded in Chicago USA in 1902 by the swedish immigrant Justus P. Seeburg, manufaturing electrical self playing Pianos such as the automatic Seeburg Orchestrion from 1910. During the 20´s and 30´s Seeburg extended his products to Pianos, Organs and numerous different coin- operated vendig machines until the first selective Phonograph with 10 selections, called Wilcox in 1934. In the following years, Seeburg revoloutioned with numerous industries first innovations and competed directly with Wurlitzer. Find out more about this on our Seeburg pages.
