The name Bally appeared for the very first time in 1932 on a wooden board game with symmetrically arranged metal pins between numbered holes, in which the player had to shoot balls. Ballyhoo had the honour to be called the first "Pinball".
Ever since then, this term pulls Bally Manufacturing Corp. and Pinball together. Over the following years, Bally manufactured numerous Pinball Games and developped Industry´s First innovations such as the speech on Gorgar and multifunctional ramps. Ballys biggest success struck in 1992 by launching more than 20.000 Addams Family Games plus another limited Special Collectors Gold Edition of 1000 units in 1994, this was never been seen before in the Pinball Industry.
However Bally was aquired already in 1988 by his competitor Williams, but continued to produce under the parental business name Bally. These Games, no matter if Early Electronics or Dot-Matrix are in great demand by insider and collectors.
