Wir bekommen fast täglich Anrufe von Leuten, die uns gebraucht Geräte anbieten. Und meistens sind die laut Anbieter in einem TOP Zustand ;-)

Der Anruf diesmal sollte aber auch mich überraschen. Ein uns sehr gut bekannter Händler rief an und berichtete von einem Addams Family Flipperautomaten unbespielt, der bei einem Automatenaufsteller steht.

Ich denke mir noch: „Jaja, neu aber sicher“ Aber die Neugier war geweckt und ich machte mich auf den Weg zum Automatenaufsteller.

Als ich dort ankam, war die Überraschung wirklich perfekt und ich konnte meinen Augen nicht trauen. Der Besitzer des Addams Family Flippers hatte ihn damals ausgepackt und hingestellt, um eine Ausstellung aufzubauen.

Zu dieser Ausstellung kam es aber nie. Es wurden immer mehr Geräte davorgestellt und der Addams Family Pinball geriet in Vergessenheit. Jetzt wurde das Lager aufgelöst und der mir bekannte Händler hat ihn sofort gekauft.

Jetzt hieß es, die Ruhe zu bewahren, keinen Herzstillstand zu bekommen und ein Gebot für den Flipperautomaten abzugeben. Einen Addams NOS kauft man wohl jetzt nur noch einmal...

Und mein Gebot bekam den Zuschlag ;-) Und wie Mike Wolf schon sagte: „Was seltenes must du kaufen du bekommst die Chance nicht noch einmal …..“

Hier die Daten vom dem „Goldstück“:

• Der Addams Family Flipperautomaten ist nie bespielt worden.
• Die Flipperbeine wurden nie montiert (darum steht er bei uns auf Böcken).
• Es befindet sich noch der deutsche kleine Prüfzettel vom Großhändler am Gerät als er 1992 verkauft wurde.
• Die Schutzfolie an den Seitenschienen wurde nie entfernt und ist noch dran.
• Auf der Kassentür sind noch Klebreste vom alten Klebeband ebenso wie bei den Flipperbeinen.
• Alle Platinen, Gehäuse und sogar der Topper haben matching Numbers (die gleiche Seriennummer).
• Zum Glück wurden damals schon die Batterien entfernt. Platinen top. Display Anzeige „dot matrix“ ist über die Jahre leider ausgefallen.
• Das Gerät ist „New old stock“ nach ca. 30 Jahren Lagerung gibt es natürlich Patina an Metallteilen so das sie Stumpf Matt sind.
• An einigen Stellen ist etwas Flug Rost zu sehen, am meisten an der rechten Kopfteilhatlerung. Wir haben den Flipper nur eingeschaltet. Es wurden keine Kugeln ins Gerät eingelegt.

Der Addams Family Pnball steht natürlich zum Verkauf. Es gibt keinen Festpreis. Du kannst auf diesen Flipperautomaten bieten.

Pinball Addams Family from 1992 unused (new old stock) the find of the year?

If you think after over 20 years of experience in the jukebox and pinball machine business you've seen them all, you're wrong.

We get calls almost every day from people who offer us used equipment. And mostly, according to the provider, they are in TOP condition ;-)
The call this time should surprise me too. A dealer we very well known called and reported about an Addams Family pinball machine that was not played at a machine stand.
I still think to myself: “Yes, yes, new , surely”. But my curiosity was aroused and I made my way to the machine operator.

When I got there the surprise was really perfect and I couldn't believe my eyes. The owner of the Addams Family Pinball machine had unpacked it and put it down to set up an exhibition.
But this exhibition never came about. More and more machines were presented in front of them and the Addams Family Pinball was forgotten. Now the warehouse has been closed and the dealer I know bought it immediately.

Now it was time to keep calm, not get cardiac arrest and place a bid for the pinball machine. You probably only buy an Addams NOS one more time ...
And my bid was accepted ;-) And as Mike Wolf said: "You have to buy something rare, you won't get the chance again ..."


Here are the data from the "gold piece":

• The Addams Family pinball machine has never been used.
• The flipper legs were never installed (that's why he stands on trestles with us).
• There is still the small German test slip from the wholesaler on the device when it was sold in 1992.
• The protective film on the side rails was never removed and is still on.
• There are still pieces of sticky tape from the old tape on the cash door as well as on the flipper legs.
• All boards, cabinet and even the topper have matching numbers (the same serial number).
• Fortunately, the batteries were removed back then. Boards top. The Dot Matrix display has unfortunately failed over the years.
• The machine is "new old stock" after approx. 30 years of storage there is of course a patina on metal parts so that they are dull matt.
• In some places some rust can be seen, mostly on the right backbox. We just turned on the pinball machine. No balls were inserted into the pinball.
  
  The Addams Family Pinball is of course for sale. There is no fixed price. You can bid on the pinball machines.
